W.G. Dodds was founded in 1963 by Bill Dodds as a supplier of support beams to the National Coal Board, but when demand diminished, he with his son Peter decided to manufacture pallets instead. Unfortunately, Bill died before the first order was met. In the late 1970's when need to diversify arose once more, the decision was made to produce garden fencing. That decision proved to be successful and over the years W.G. DODDS & SON or DODDS FENCING has become established in the market as Cleveland's leading fencing manufacturer, where quality, price and service matters. The company has expanded its range to produce two types of garden shed. They are both built to customer's specification. Peter is at the helm, with his wife Joyce an integrated part of the company, combining her sales function with those of secretary, accountant, receptionist and anything else which needs to be done. Joyce only started by accident. |
